Botanic Name: Origanum x majoricum.

Description: Fragrant bright green foliage, widely used in Mediterranean and Mexican dishes.

Uses:  Use the leaves in salad dressings, meatloaf, stews and other meat dishes. Dries easily and retains its flavor.

Harvesting:  Harvest leaves in the summer. Use fresh or dried.

Best Results:  To over-winter, grow in a container and protect it from the cold.

Companion Planting:  Blends well with tarragon and basils.
