- 1 1/4 cup Lavender flowers, dried
- 1/8 cup Thyme, dried
- 1/8 cup Mint
- 1/8 cup Basil leaves, dried
- 2 teaspoons ground cloves
- 2 teaspoons ground caraway seeds
- 1/4 cup orris root powder
- 3 drops lavender oil
- Combine dried flowers and leaves in a large bowl.
- Add spices to the dried mix.
- In a small bowl, mix orris root powder with 3 drops lavender oil; add this to other ingredients.
- Mix all ingredients together thoroughly.
- Store in a sealed container or jar for at least one month before using.
This is my favorite potpourri recipe! The fragrance of Lavender lasts for ages...
