30 min | 10 min prep

1 batch

  1. Preheat oven to 350F and spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In large bowl, mash the tuna so that there are no large lumps.
  3. Mix flour and milk in the tuna until thoroughly combined.
  4. Add water and oil, mix well.
  5. Beat an egg until foamy, add and combine thoroughly.
  6. Expect the dough mix to be sticky.
  7. Shape dough into tiny balls- about the size of a small marble.
  8. Roll the balls in finely crushed dry Catnip.
  9. Place the balls on the cookie sheet and flatten slightly.
  10. Bake for 10 minutes then remove them from oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
  11. Turn treats over and bake 10 more minutes or until browned.
  12. Cool treats completely before giving any to your pet.
  13. Store in air tight container in the refrigerator or a cool dry place.

As an alternative, you can add the Catnip to the recipe with the other ingredients, instead of rolling the balls in this. They like the treats either way. You can also adjust the amount of Catnip, based on how much your cat likes Catnip!
