Botanic Name: Thymus fragrantissimus

Description: Fine needle-like green foliage with a strong citrus orange fragrance, smothered by pale-pink flowers in early summer.

Uses: Adds flavor to fish & game meats, great with poultry. Delicious addition to fruit salads. It also makes a refreshing herb tea.

Harvesting: Harvest leaves as required. Use fresh or dry for later use.

Best Results: Easy to grow perennial, which is drought tolerant when established.

Companion Planting: Well suited to growing in containers, in a mixed border, or in an herb garden.
