  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray.
  3. Whisk flour, sugar and baking powder in a bowl.
  4. Stir butter and egg into flour mixture until smooth.
  5. Add vanilla extract and lavender.
  6. Gently mix again until thoroughly combined.
  7. Drop cookie dough by tablespoon about 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake in the pre-heated oven until cookies are fragrant and edges turn light golden brown, 10 to 15 minutes.
