SERVES 6 -8

  1. Pre-bake pie crust.
  2. Cool.
  3. Slice the strawberries into the pie crust.
  4. In a medium saucepan, mix the package of jello with the cornstarch.
  5. Add the cold water to the jello and cornstarch, and mix well.
  6. Add the hot water and the sugar, or Stevia extract (taste strawberry jello mixture after each addition of Stevia - to taste)
  7. Cook over medium heat until boiling.
  8. Stir occasionally.
  9. Pour the boiling mixture over the strawberries.
  10. Place the pie in the refrigerator.
  11. Chill for 3-4 hours until the jello glaze sets.
  12. In the meantime, whip whipping cream and keep in refrigerator.
  13. Serve with big spoonfuls of whipped cream over the pie.
